Position Overview: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a vital role in providing support within residential programs and assisting in the implementation of behavior analytics under the guidance of an RBT supervisor.

Work Schedule: 40 hours, Flexible

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist individuals with skills training in all daily living activities.
  2. Participate in delivering comprehensive behavior analytic services to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities: implement behavior interventions, assist in data collection, and provide reports on target behaviors.
  3. Engage regularly with the RBT supervisor to review behavior plans, data collection, and analysis.
  4. Create opportunities for individuals to make choices that enhance their skills and promote independence.
  5. Deliver services in accordance with DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all relevant regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
  6. Support individuals with their medical, clinical, and financial needs.
  7. Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities as required.
  8. Maintain necessary documentation in compliance with DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
  9. Assist individuals in accessing community resources and recreational opportunities.
  10. Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations, as applicable.
  11. Maintain core training certifications including CPR/FA, OSHA, PABC, MAP, and Driver Safety.
  12. Complete additional mandated certifications and training as required by the program.
  13. Foster positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
  2. Associate's Degree or DSP Certification is preferred.
  3. Current Registered Behavior Technician certification is required.
  4. A minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clarity in documentation.
  2. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
  4. Proficiency in using Microsoft products and web-based applications utilized by the agency.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Frequent climbing of stairs is required.
  2. Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  3. Must be able to drive a vehicle and meet the agency's driving record requirements.
  4. Normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses is necessary.
  5. Normal range of hearing with or without corrective equipment is required.
