Responsibilities
  • Providing individualized nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Developing and implementing care plans in conjunction with residents and medical teams
  • Monitoring and maintaining medical equipment and supplies
  • Communicating with residents, family members, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care
  • Documenting interventions and medical condition histories accurately
  • Participating in investigations into incidents and ensuring accurate reporting
  • Training and supervising nursing staff as needed
Requirements
  • Current Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Completion of an approved nursing program
  • At least 4 months' experience in post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
