Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Radiology Department. This role is essential in delivering top-notch diagnostic services while upholding our tradition of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will:

  • Administer radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients, monitoring the characteristics and functions of tissues or organs.
  • Utilize advanced nuclear medicine equipment and protocols to generate radiographic studies and diagnostic information.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and transfer, providing necessary immobilization devices.
  • Maintain meticulous records of radioactive materials in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Address patient inquiries during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Schedule patients for nuclear medicine studies and assist in developing innovative techniques as needed.

Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program.
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine is required.
Certifications: Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-N) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is mandatory. BLS certification is also required.
