We are seeking an Engineering Operations Manager to lead the engineering, maintenance, and facility management efforts at our manufacturing site.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving key performance indicators related to safety, quality, production, and operational efficiency. Your duties will include managing maintenance schedules, diagnosing equipment issues, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering and maintenance operations to ensure optimal performance
- Manage maintenance plans and troubleshoot equipment failures
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in production processes
- Foster a culture of safety and quality throughout the facility

Core Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in engineering, facilities, or machinery maintenance
- At least seven (7) years of supervisory experience
- Two (2) years of specific experience in maintenance and equipment reliability
- Strong interpersonal skills, ensuring approachability and accessibility
- Proven project management experience with successful completion of complex engineering projects
- Advanced understanding of engineering principles and technology applications
- Proficient in design techniques and production of technical plans and models
- Familiarity with reliability tools and strategies, including FMEA, RCM, and RCA
- Comprehensive knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management
- Strong business acumen related to maintenance planning and resource allocation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences
- Ability to train and develop employees across various skill levels
- Proficiency in the English language to facilitate effective training and communication

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, facilities, or reliability
- Five (5) years of specific experience in maintenance and equipment reliability
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
- Experience in managing multi-shift or continuous operations
- Background in paper converting, chemical or plastics processing, or packaging industries
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
