Overview:
The role involves assisting in the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals to students in an efficient and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, serving, and cleanliness protocols.
  • Support the preparation of various menu items including vegetables, salads, and sandwiches.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of serving areas.
  • Help serve daily meal offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness in designated work areas and assist with overall kitchen sanitation.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Qualifications:
To succeed in this position, candidates must be able to perform essential duties effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in large-scale food preparation and service is advantageous.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence. Capable of writing basic correspondence and effectively communicating in small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:
Proficient in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers. Able to apply these skills in practical situations involving currency and measurements.

Work Hours:
8:45am - 2:00pm (5.25 hours/day)
