Job Summary:

The Cashier position at Firehouse Subs is a critical role in the daily success of our restaurant. As a guest-facing job, it's often the first point of contact for our customers beyond the initial greeting. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cashier.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy in handling customer orders.
  • Develop and maintain excellent menu and product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure the accuracy of customer orders and communicate effectively with guests to handle questions and concerns.
  • Proficiently use the POS system to process transactions and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in all Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other restaurant functions as assigned by management, such as food preparation or cleaning.

Requirements:
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent menu and product knowledge.
  • Accountable for the accuracy of customer orders.
  • Proficient use of the POS system.
  • Accuracy of the cash drawer.
  • Team player.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
