Baskerville-Donovan, Inc. is seeking a skilled Survey Instrument Specialist to join our Survey team in our Pensacola, FL office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating surveying equipment, preparing job sites, and ensuring the accuracy of geospatial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload survey equipment and supplies from the crew vehicle, ensuring all necessary tools are available for the job.
  • Set up and operate surveying equipment, including plumb bobs, prism poles, and tri-pods.
  • Measure and accurately set points at designated areas, setting stakes, hubs, and boundary corners.
  • Cut lines using machetes, chain saws, and other required tools.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a variety of terrain and weather conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Survey Crew Chief.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with surveying equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to weather conditions, including heat, cold, and precipitation.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, balancing, and climbing.
