Key Responsibilities

  • Organize tasks based on priorities and project plans.
  • Track crew attendance and performance.
  • Distribute general and daily tasks among team members.
  • Oversee and mentor workers and tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Adhere to company and OSHA safety regulations, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Supervise the operation of machinery and equipment.
  • Address and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Ensure operators conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned machinery, reporting any defects or required repairs; maintain equipment and vehicles in a clean and professional manner.
  • Work hours may vary based on project size and location, with evening and weekend work required as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Operations Supervisor.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction practices, equipment, and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and reporting abilities.
  • Proficiency in mathematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical condition and stamina.
  • High School diploma or equivalent in a skilled trade (e.g., electrician, carpenter).
  • OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and motor vehicle records checks.
  • A valid Class A CDL is advantageous.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Capability to lift up to 90 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Able to work with moving mechanical parts, in high or precarious places, and in environments with fumes or airborne particles, as well as toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Willingness to work in extreme temperatures and in moderate to loud environments.
