Job Description

We are looking for an Animal Care Attendant to join our team at Jills Pet Resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the mission, vision, and values of Destination Pet.

  • Sanitize and disinfect pet enclosures and general boarding areas.
  • Provide clean bedding and fresh water to each pet guest.
  • Ensure that each pet receives the correct type and quantity of food for each meal.
  • Monitor and accurately chart consumption and elimination of each and every pet guest.
  • Visually check pet guests for safety and well-being throughout the day.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A passion for animals and excellent communication skills.
  • Professional animal care/kennel experience preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
