- Conduct a thorough psychosocial history and comprehensive assessment for incoming clients, delivering an interpretative summary within a specified timeframe.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop a Preliminary Treatment Plan within a designated period following admission.
- Engage in the preparation of a Comprehensive Treatment Plan in partnership with clients and the treatment team, to be completed within a specified timeframe.
- Manage a designated caseload in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide individual and group counseling services tailored for clients with dual diagnoses.
- Maintain regular contact with each client, documenting their progress according to individual needs.
- Deliver hybrid services in accordance with current state regulations.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients.
- Ensure timely submission of client data for authorizations.
- Secure court orders and relevant resource information as necessary.
- Perform multidimensional assessments and clinical evaluations, providing diagnostic impressions and interpretative summaries.
- Assess the appropriate level of care placement utilizing established criteria.
- Possess knowledge of various levels of care and treatment modalities.
- Work collaboratively with clients to formulate a Preliminary Treatment Plan as per established guidelines.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans that outline problem areas, goals, interventions, and desired outcomes, including referrals for additional services.
- Maintain accurate records regarding client history, progress, and services rendered.
- Complete all required clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies and state regulations.
- Administer drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Provide ethical and culturally sensitive individual psychotherapy sessions.
- Lead group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing recovery skills and fostering community.
- Advocate for the needs of clients.
- Prepare aftercare transition plans for clients prior to discharge.
- Complete discharge summaries promptly.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor or equivalent in the relevant state.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree.
- Current certifications in good standing with the relevant regulatory board.
- Strong expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating substance abuse and medical issues.
- Familiarity with state regulations and standards.
- Proficient documentation and computer skills.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records.
- Expertise in local community drug trends and the implications of addiction.
