Position Overview:
The main objective of this role is to assist assigned residents with their daily activities and provide nursing care in line with their individual assessments and care plans, as directed by supervisory staff.
Available Shifts:
AM Full Time 4x2 in Sub-Acute and SNF
PM 3-11
NOC AM
Compensation:
$20-23 for SNF, $23-25 for SAU
Key Responsibilities:
Execute all assigned duties in accordance with established protocols and as per supervisor instructions.
Adhere to work schedules and assignments while completing your tasks.
Create and maintain a warm, engaging atmosphere, fostering a calm environment throughout the unit and during your shift.
Document and report any complaints or concerns raised by residents.Notify the facility in advance if you will be late or unable to attend work, ideally providing at least 2 hours' notice before your shift begins.
Inform your supervisor when leaving for breaks or meal periods and ensure coverage for your responsibilities during your absence.
Report any occupational exposures to hazardous materials or incidents to your supervisor and complete the necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid CNA certification issued by the State of CA.
Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required. Others must be able to comprehend your communication.
Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
Must demonstrate tactfulness when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues is essential.
Possess patience, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm, especially when working with challenging residents.
Willingness to explore and adopt new methods and principles into existing nursing practices is expected.
Ability to convey information regarding a resident's condition is necessary.Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
