Behavioral Health Specialist

At Child Guidance Resource Centers, we are seeking a skilled Behavior Consultant to join our team. As a Behavior Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting children and adolescents with behavioral health needs by providing strength-based goals and integrating community services.
Key Responsibilities:- Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with parents, treatment team members, and other professionals to transfer skills and collect data on behavior interventions.
- Treatment Planning: Develop effective treatment plan goals with measurable objectives to promote change and progress.
- Behavioral Interventions: Design and implement effective behavior plans and ongoing data collection to assess behavior change and modify treatment as needed.
- Case Progress Notes: Record all case progress notes to maintain accurate history of treatment events and client progress.
- Special Evaluations: Determine the clinical need for special evaluations and services, including family support services, medication assessment, and psychological testing.
- Intake Appointments: Conduct intake appointments with families and collect relevant information for the assessment process.
- Observations: Conduct observations of children across settings, including home, school, and community.
- Assessments: Complete assessments with teachers, parents, and children to aid in clarifying a child's diagnosis.
- Clinical Documents: Develop clinical documents that summarize observational data, assessments, and support continuing treatment of identified behaviors.
