Thermal Engineer Job Description

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Dell Technologies as a Thermal Engineer, where you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation cooling solutions for AI infrastructure. As a Thermal Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop advanced cooling technologies and optimize solutions for AI applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop business cases for future product strategies and position the supply base for working in the Dell supply chain at scale.
  • Engage with the supplier base on future technologies, identifying and developing their technical capabilities.
  • Build and mature the technical supply base to increase the number of potential sources.
  • Improve speed to market and delivery by benchmarking customers to drive product standardization and eliminate custom designs.
  • Enhance readiness for next-generation (N+1, N+2) solution components.

Requirements
  • Senior-level experience in technical design with thermals/liquid cooling technologies.
  • Deep industry and supplier knowledge, particularly in product development and engineering.
  • Strong relationships with the supply base and the ability to build long-term technical engagement strategies.
  • Expertise in liquid and air-cooling solutions to support data center deployments.
