As a Hospitalist Physician, you will have the opportunity to advance the health of your community while contributing new practice ideas and initiatives that can improve care for millions of patients across the country. You will be part of a vibrant 500-bed safety-net community hospital in Everett, Washington, with a robust multidisciplinary staff that supports all inpatient work.
The ideal candidate will have a solid medicine background (internal medicine) and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care. You will enjoy a hospitalist schedule of 14-17 shifts per month, with no more than 3 night shifts per year. The average daily census ranges between 14-18 patients per shift.

Required Qualifications:
- Unrestricted WA State Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Current WA DEA certificate (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Board Certified Internal Medicine
- EMR proficient
- Proven positive attitude and solid work ethic
- Proven self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence
- Proven solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both shifts on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience
- Managed Care and Medi-Cal experience
Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $288,631 to $385,254 annually. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
