About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial/Industrial Overhead Door Manager to join our team at Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our commercial and industrial overhead door division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of commercial/industrial overhead door technicians and installation crews
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate field technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
  • Conduct ride-alongs with technicians to provide feedback and ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Manage workload and schedules to maximize profits and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Ensure all repairs and installations are completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Communicate and monitor goals with the team to drive results and achieve business objectives
  • Manage departmental budget and ensure expenses are aligned with company goals
  • Perform administrative tasks, including field technician paperwork, personnel evaluations, and expense reports
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and establish priorities to drive results
  • Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license
