Rehabilitation Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Corewell Health. As a member of our Weekend Option Program, you will have the opportunity to work 48 out of 52 weekends per calendar year, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.
About the UnitOur 10-acre campus is home to a 164-bed rehabilitation and nursing center, offering a range of services to support patients in their recovery. With two floors and designated units for general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer, our team is equipped to provide goal-oriented, compassionate care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities- Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably, adhering to professional standards and state regulations.
- Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
- Inform patients and families about treatments, medications, and equipment, ensuring they are fully engaged in their care.
- Document care provided via computer or written patient record, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or LPN certification required.
- RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
