We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Wildlife Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting the care and well-being of ambassador animals, ensuring their health and safety, and assisting with outreach events.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of animal enclosures, handling, and facilities.
- Observe and report any signs of illness, distress, or safety issues in animals.
- Ensure animals have adequate food and water, and replenish supplies as needed.
- Exercise animals in designated areas, following proper safety protocols.
- Assist other team members with exhibit preparation, animal handling, and outreach activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to read, write, and understand oral and written instructions.
- Preferred: 6 months experience with exotic animal handling and care.
