Job Title: Sanitation Specialist

Russ' Commissary is seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sanitation team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and refuse disposal
  • Clean and sanitize specific rooms in the production facility, adhering to USDA requirements
  • Inspect completed tasks to ensure cleanliness and quality
  • Document tasks on our Daily/Weekly Cleaning Sheet and Master Sanitation Schedule
  • Communicate any issues to management and prioritize food safety and quality throughout the workday
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures and protocols
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to chemicals and cleaning equipment. The typical work hours are 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility.
