Job Description:

G.I. JOHNS is seeking a skilled Inventory Specialist to join their dynamic team at their Manassas Park, VA location, working from Monday to Friday (6 AM - 4 PM). As a key member of the Maintenance team, this role plays a vital part in the day-to-day execution of a rapidly growing portable sanitation company that prides itself on doing things the right way and delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and ensure equipment readiness.
  2. Responsible for inventory tracking and procurement, including portable units, rolling stock, installation hardware, tools, liquids, and paper products.
  3. Upload and maintain the G.I. JOHNS inventory management system for location tracking, availability, and life cycle projection.
  4. Oversee the company's compliance with existing fire codes as directed by the Manassas Park Locality.
  5. Project inventory status and inform management of impending orders.
  6. Responsible for the installation of inventory hardware, including Cam Code QR Tags, to all corresponding pieces of equipment.
  7. Accept all deliveries and ensure they are stocked and uploaded to the Inventory Management System accordingly.
  8. Inform the Dispatch Department of inventory status on a weekly basis to ensure orders can be fulfilled in a timely manner.
  9. Keep management informed of trends, trouble, patterns of business, market sentiment, and the ever-changing environment we operate in day-to-day.
  10. Assist with organizational systems.
  11. Supervise project/task completion.
  12. Assist with installations of sanitary systems and procurement of supplies therein.
  13. Assist with special events.
  14. Supervise the equipment repair process.
  15. Upkeep of tools/equipment.
  16. Deploy on repair/maintenance calls.
