Job Summary:
The Lactation Consultant I provides clinical care support and education to breastfeeding mothers and their babies. This role also involves providing consultative support and education to nursing and medical staff, as well as community breastfeeding support groups.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical care support and education to breastfeeding mothers and their babies
• Offer consultative support and education to nursing and medical staff
• Collaborate with community breastfeeding support groups

Requirements:
• 2 years of clinical experience in breastfeeding
• Graduate nursing degree or equivalent
• Registered Nurse licensure
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification within 1 year of hire

Work Schedule:
Weekend nights, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Weekend and Call Requirements:
Every weekend, as needed
