Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at a state-of-the-art Secure Residential Facility in Essex, Vermont. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered treatment to adults with severe mental illness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize clinical assessment and judgment to make independent and autonomous decisions within the scope of RN practice.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of nursing care, coordinating with internal and external partners as needed.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Partner with RN III to provide on-duty supervision for professional and paraprofessional nursing staff.
  • Assist Nurse Educator & RN III in facilitating ongoing competencies/trainings with nursing staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Possession of, or eligibility for, licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont or eligibility to practice in the state via a multi-state license.
  • Two (2) years or more of professional nursing experience, or one (1) year or more of experience as a Registered Nurse I with the State of Vermont.
