Job Title: Registered Nurse II

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at a state-of-the-art Secure Residential Facility in Essex, Vermont. As a Registered Nurse II, you will play a vital role in the person-centered treatment of adults with severe mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize clinical assessment and judgment to demonstrate independent and autonomous decision making within the scope of RN practice.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of nursing care and coordinate care with internal and external partners.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications.
  • Partner with RN III to provide on-duty supervision for professional and paraprofessional nursing staff.
  • May assist Nurse Educator & RN III in facilitating ongoing competencies/trainings with nursing staff.

Requirements:

  • Possession of, or eligible for, licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont OR eligible to practice in the state of Vermont via a multi-state license.
  • Two (2) years or more of professional nursing experience.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
