Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Best Practice Medicine. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract top talent for our organization and our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract top talent for our organization and our clients.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the organization's needs.
- Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Identify, track, and maintain relationships with pools of qualified candidates for future assignments and deployments.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
- At least 1-3 years of experience recruiting for a variety of roles.
- At least 1-3 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe.
- Able to communicate efficiently via email and online meetings.
- Able to learn multiple software programs.
- HRIS experience.
- 3-5 years of experience recruiting for a variety of roles; healthcare or emergency services recruiting a plus.
- 3-5+ years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
- SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus, as well as the ability and willingness to obtain it.
- SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus, as well as the willingness and ability to obtain it.
- Experience with Paylocity and Breezy.
- Prior emergency services experience is a plus (firefighters, police, military, paramedics, EMT's, etc.).
