Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and mentor occupational therapy assistants and students as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current licensure to practice in New York State.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
