Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement
  • Conduct root cause analyses and failure mode effects analyses to investigate and resolve patient safety incidents
  • Design and implement project plans to drive quality and safety initiatives
  • Provide education and training to staff on quality and safety best practices
  • Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Nursing required
  • Three years of experience in a hospital or outpatient clinical role
  • One year of experience in a quality management and/or patient safety, risk management, decision support or similar information analysis role
  • RN-Temp - Registered Nurse - Temporary State Licensure within 60 days
  • CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) OR
  • Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations
Travel Requirements:

May require travel within the Houston Metropolitan area and outside of Houston Metropolitan area
