Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and maintainable automated testing frameworks tailored to the financial domain.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of automated test suites using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Conduct SQL queries to validate data integrity and execute backend testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test automation opportunities and define automation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing of financial software applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality automation code.
  • Mentor and coach QA engineers on test automation techniques and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation in the financial domain.
  • Strong proficiency in core Java programming and Java development.
  • Extensive experience with Selenium for test automation.
  • Hands-on experience in API testing and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for backend testing.
  • Experience with automation framework development and customization.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
Education:

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
