PGY-2 Resident Position at Nuvance Health

Nuvance Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our residency program as a PGY-2 Resident. As a resident, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a personal program of self-study and professional growth with guidance from our experienced faculty.
  • Participate in safe, effective, and compassionate patient care under supervision commensurate with your level of advancement and responsibility.
  • Contribute to the educational and scholarly activities of our program and assume responsibility for teaching and supervising other residents and students.
  • Participate in institutional programs and activities involving the medical staff and adhere to established practices, procedures, and policies of the institution.
  • Engage in activities that promote a healthy and joyful engagement in the physician's role.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a medical school in the United States or Canada accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
  • Graduation from a college of osteopathic medicine in the United States accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
  • Graduation from a medical school outside the United States or Canada who hold, or will hold prior to appointment, a valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is day shift, 8 hours per day, with some flexibility to accommodate patient care needs.
