The Licensed Pharmacy Professional meticulously evaluates medication orders against patient profiles, adhering to established hospital and pharmacy protocols. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and a dedication to professional development.

Qualifications:
Must possess a degree from an accredited pharmacy school, with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Current registration in New York is required.
Completion of the hospital's orientation program is mandatory, in line with pharmacy policies.
Core Competencies:
Ability to communicate effectively, utilizing various methods to ensure clarity and understanding. Proficiency in pharmaceutical calculations and maintaining departmental competencies is essential. Commitment to ongoing education as required for licensure is expected.
Demonstrates professionalism and serves as a role model within the pharmacy team.
Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Exposure to chemicals necessary for pharmacy operations is possible. The role requires the ability to perform tasks that involve fine motor skills, prolonged periods of standing or sitting, and the capacity to manage heavy objects exceeding 30 lbs.
Effective communication skills in both written and verbal English are necessary, along with the ability to concentrate on detailed tasks for extended periods.
Must be adept at using computer systems and performing repetitive functions as part of daily responsibilities.
