Mercy Cardiology is actively looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to enhance our practice in Joplin, MO.
Our Team:
The Mercy Cardiology team is composed of five interventional cardiologists, one electrophysiologist, two non-invasive cardiologists, four nurse practitioners, and a dedicated support staff committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
About the Mercy Joplin Cardiology Program:
Our facility is a modern 240-bed hospital, established in 2015, equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources.
We provide outreach services in one community and maintain a full schedule of clinic appointments.
Our responsibilities include the interpretation of non-invasive tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, nuclear medicine stress tests, vascular ultrasounds, event monitors, and Holter monitors.
Key Features of the Position:
- Opportunity to engage in structural cases
- Call schedule of 3-5 days per month, rotating every 6th or 7th weekend
- Strong outreach support from nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring a broad patient base.
Compensation and Benefits:
This role offers an integrated health system with a competitive compensation structure, including:
- A competitive two-year salary guarantee
- A $50,000 commencement bonus along with up to $10,000 for relocation assistance
- Four weeks of vacation during the guarantee period, six holidays, and one week for continuing medical education
