Key Responsibilities:
Summary:
This role requires maintaining a constant state of vigilance to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its residents. You will operate within legal frameworks and adhere to agency stipulations.

Primary Duties:

  • Ensure operational readiness of necessary equipment for each shift, including radios and flashlights. Prepare shift documentation such as reports and logs that meet facility standards.
  • Receive essential information from outgoing personnel regarding events from the previous shift, including medical issues and special instructions.
  • Conduct regular facility counts and maintain accurate logbooks.
  • Perform frequent patrols to monitor residents and the facility's condition, ensuring security measures are upheld.
  • Maintain an updated picture board of all residents in the facility.
  • Supervise resident work details to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Conduct scheduled and random security checks, including drug testing and personal searches.
  • Document any disciplinary actions according to established procedures.
  • Perform cleanliness inspections of the facility and residents' belongings to ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Welcome visitors and verify their identities while maintaining professionalism.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to foster positive relationships.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and collaborate on solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Be available for various shifts and overtime as needed to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Follow safety protocols to perform duties without risk of injury.
  • Foster a cooperative team environment through effective communication.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • One year of general work experience; experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain workflow.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts clearly in both written and verbal communication.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interact with staff and residents.
  • Ability to motivate others and foster a positive work environment.
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks.
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.

Pay:
Pay USD $17.20/Hr.

Bonus (if applicable):
$2000 Sign On Bonus
