Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative embedded systems and robotics solutions.
  • Design and implement embedded systems architectures and schematics for complex applications.
  • Work with layout engineers to design PCB layouts and ensure successful hardware implementation.
  • Develop and test PCBs for prototype and production quantities.
  • Mentor junior engineers in PCB design and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new research to drive innovation and team development.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in firmware engineering or embedded systems engineering.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with PCB schematic and layout design using Altium or similar software.
  • Knowledge of serial digital communication protocols (UART, I2C, CAN, SPI, USB).
  • Experience with C/C++, Python, and other common development languages.
  • Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) experience.
  • Agile project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, PLCs, industrial robots, safety-rated equipment, encoders, networking, circuits, AC/DC motors, and motor controllers.
  • Understanding of automated equipment and systems, panel design, firmware design, regulatory practices, and schematics.
  • Panel design experience, hands-on mechanical capabilities, and controls project management experience.
