Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures
Requirements:
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
