Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and operate the CT scanner to perform diagnostic examinations, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Document patient information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields in MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Remain up-to-date with software protocols and changes in the field, attending courses or seminars as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, including radiologists, to ensure seamless care.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency plus college/technical training.
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 100 lbs.
  • Minimum of 1 year current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
