Your Role

We are in search of a dependable and enthusiastic Day Porter to manage daily maintenance and cleanliness at our new location.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively. You will collaborate with management to develop a comprehensive cleaning schedule that outlines your daily responsibilities and work hours.

COMPENSATION:

$20-$24/hour (Negotiable based on experience)

REQUIRED TRAINING/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Preferred two (2) years of relevant experience. Restaurant background is advantageous but not mandatory.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to stand for 9 hours.
- Capacity to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Professional and clear communication skills.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Capability to perform all job functions while adhering to uniform requirements, including appropriate footwear.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct minor repairs and enhancements to the facility.
  • Display safety hazard signs when necessary, including warnings for wet paint and wet floors.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of restrooms.
  • Address significant spills or cleaning emergencies promptly.
  • Assist with daily inventory management and packaging disposal.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, polishing, dusting, and dishwashing.
  • Ability to obtain an Illinois Food Handler's certification.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
