We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine, Adult Geriatric, or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to participate in our federally funded Rural Dementia Training Project.

Job Summary

This Nurse Practitioner will spend one year in our Mood and Memory Clinic, gaining the skills and knowledge necessary to become successful in providing clinical assessment and treatment to persons with late-life and early-onset neurocognitive disorders.

Responsibilities
  • See patients in the Mood and Memory Clinic
  • Participate in didactic education
  • Attend seminars and case supervision
  • Conduct inpatient consults
About Northern Light Acadia Hospital

We are an acute care, regional psychiatric teaching hospital that is the hub of a comprehensive behavioral health service line within Northern Light Health. We serve communities throughout the state and provide inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care for children, teens, and adults while specializing in the treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders.

What We Offer
  • A full-time salary and benefits comparable to Nurse Practitioners at Northern Light Acadia Hospital
  • A schedule of Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
  • Practice under the supervision of the Clinical Director (Neuropsychiatrist), Outpatient Medical Director (Geriatric Psychiatrist), and a doctoral-level PMH-NP
