OBJECTIVE:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate user data requirements and design user-friendly solutions that integrate with current system applications.
  • Support users with IT-related inquiries by managing the Company's IT Helpdesk communications to ensure timely resolution of requests in accordance with the Company's service level agreements.
  • Develop and deliver relevant training sessions for users regarding Company software, policies, and system upgrades.
  • Utilize the ERP system to create, modify, and compile data for various business units and end users.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the Company's Document Management system (SharePoint) to align with the needs of the Company, departments, and users.
  • Administer and update the Company's Intranet site content.
  • Execute special projects as directed by IT Management and senior leadership.
  • Uphold high standards of professional ethics to reinforce the Company's reputation as a leader in its industry.
  • Adhere to and enforce the Company's IT policies for all users.
  • Comply with applicable ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions to maintain alignment with the documented Quality System and understand the REMET Quality Policy.

PROBLEM SOLVING CAPACITY:

  • This role operates within established Company guidelines.
  • The intern must effectively communicate and resolve complex application, software, PC, and network issues while assisting non-IT personnel to ensure optimal system utilization.
  • The individual should anticipate evolving technology trends and propose procedural, process, or equipment adjustments to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in computer science or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of application software, hardware, and network operations is essential.
  • Strong project management and time management skills are required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively assist personnel at all levels within the Company.
