**Job Summary**

RESPEC Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student civil engineering intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. As a student engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various water resource engineering projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist in planning, design, and construction of water resource engineering projects
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
  • Prepare reports, figures, and technical documents
  • Use computer-aided design and drafting (AutoCAD) and GIS analysis software
  • Participate in field work and construction oversight, and interact with clients

**Requirements**

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in civil or water resources engineering
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar software) and/or GIS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and contribute to project success
  • Strong problem-solving and math skills
