Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Neuroscience to work within a collaborative framework at Trinity Health. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to evidence-based practices and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Neuroscience unit consists of 19 beds, recognized for its excellence in Spine surgery and as the first Certified Thrombectomy Stroke Center in the region. Close collaboration with Neuro Critical Care is essential.
  • The Registered Nurse will operate under limited supervision, responsible for patient assessments, and the development, evaluation, and modification of care plans. This includes interpreting and executing complex patient-care procedures.
  • As integral members of both the Care Team and Support Team, RNs are accountable for achieving patient outcomes as outlined in the care pathway.
  • The Registered Nurse is a dedicated caregiver, responsible for the care provided to a designated group of patients during their shift.
  • Care is delivered through therapeutic interactions, the nursing process, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, adhering to established standards.

Qualifications

  • A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by the Board of Nursing.
  • Completion of a refresher course within the last six months if there has been a lapse in nursing practice for five years or more.
  • Previous experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
