Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Interim HealthCare Staffing. As an LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for patients with a range of illnesses, injuries, and diseases under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, RNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and aides to deliver high-quality patient care
- Take patient vital signs, conduct assessments, document progress, and report changes to the RN supervisor
- Assist the RN in carrying out physician orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments
- Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Colorado
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
- Covid-19 vaccination card
- Proof of flu vaccination during flu season (optional)
- Valid TB screening
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication skills, and compassion
