Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC systems mechanic to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their facilities are running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities
  • Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions
  • Partner with Journeymen in the repair of centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines, open-drive screw chillers, and ammonia systems

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry
  • Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification
  • Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Mechanical journeyman status

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of commercial and/or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry
  • Refrigeration Certification
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
