Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with a range of communication disorders, including speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote effective communication and swallowing strategies.
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Illinois.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending and stooping.
