Job Title: Medical Science Liaison

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage peer-to-peer relationships with community medical experts aligned within the therapeutic area of Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), consistent with the strategy and objectives of Medical Affairs.
  • Engage in scientific exchange about the science and clinical application of the Client's Rare Disease portfolio, focused on PBC treatment, to external stakeholders.
  • Share and obtain insights about current practice, treatment landscape, and emerging clinical and scientific data.
  • Support and participate in the Client's On-Demand virtual medical request line, be immediately available to answer medical requests virtually from HCPs.
  • Develop and maintain scientific, clinical, and therapeutic expertise in rare disease focused on PBC.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) or clinical experience
  • 2+ years of MSL or related experience
  • Knowledge of PhRMA, OIG, and other guidelines relating to compliant medical communications
  • Ability to travel ~ 60-80%
