Job Title: CT Technologist - Local Contract

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team on a local contract basis in Elmhurst, New York.

Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilizing them as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CT technology and techniques
Requirements:
  • 1-year experience as a CT Technologist
  • Relevant equipment experience
  • A valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or in radiation therapy issued by the NYSDOH
  • Post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS preferred
