Job Summary:
The Director of Pediatric Genomics Program is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of the new Pediatrics Genomics Center program. This includes providing leadership, guidance, and direction for day-to-day program operations and administrative activities, including the authority to make independent decisions regarding program operations, administration, and governance.

Key Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will lead and/or contribute to the short-term and long-term strategic planning, design, development, and implementation of program objectives, processes, and standards. This may include supervising staff as it relates to the overall management of the program.

Principal Responsibilities:
The Pediatric Genomics Center Manager will oversee and/or manage the assigned recognized organizational program and have authority for day-to-day program operations and administration. This may include program development or expansion. The manager will plan and implement program operations, determine and develop governance, processes, and/or guidelines, coordinate program activities and timelines, and determine and organize resources to meet program objectives.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Management, Business, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in Management, Program or Project Management, or a related field.

Physical Demands:
The job requires sitting at a desk or table with some walking, standing, bending, stooping, or carrying of light objects. The employee will perform continuous operation of a personal computer for four hours or more and use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects and/or operate equipment.
