Diversity and Inclusion Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated Diversity and Inclusion Leader to join our team at Bighornlaw. This is a part-time contract position, requiring 10 hours of work per week.

Estimated Salary: $750 per monthJob DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to implement initiatives that infuse diversity and inclusion into all aspects of our organization. This includes:
- Working with our DEI Task Force and leadership to develop and execute a plan to achieve systemic change and a culture of belonging.
- Developing a mechanism to measure progress and impact of DEI initiatives.
- Serving as a consultant and resource to our committees to assist them in incorporating EDI into their work.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of mental health services and practices, experience working with historically marginalized groups, and excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- An appropriate educational background, along with work and lived experience, enabling the development, execution, and assessment of DEI programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of concepts and processes that drive organizational DEI.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to address and manage sensitive topics and difficult conversations.
