We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conference Coordinator to join our team at Compass Group Careers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of all services for meetings and conferences by coordinating with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all reservations and bookings, ensuring seamless execution of events
- Inspect and maintain the appearance and functionality of conference rooms to ensure quality assurance
- Communicate available services, policies, and fees to clients, providing exceptional customer service
- Coordinate services for meetings, including setup, logistics, and technical support
- Participate in planning meetings, reviewing event details, and addressing staff questions and concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our events team
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in hospitality management, communications, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on event planning and coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
- Ability to multitask, managing multiple projects and work assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
