Position Details:
Duration: This is a one-year contract position with potential for temp-to-hire.
Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime. (During summer, hours may shift to 4 days, 10 hours each day.)
Compensation: $17-19/hour, based on experience.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for candidates who can effectively construct non-complex optical, electrical, and mechanical sub-assemblies while adhering to quality standards. Experience in shipping is also beneficial. Reliability and attention to detail are essential traits for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting shipping containers to ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
- Assembling daily orders based on shipping location or other categories.
- Maintaining records of packages, including delivery notes and invoices.
- Completing packing and order forms with necessary shipping information.
- Sealing and appropriately labeling shipping containers.
- Cleaning shipping containers and related supplies.
- Demonstrating assembly knowledge as needed.
