Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a RN to work in a multidisciplinary setting, providing care to a variety of pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have six months of pediatric nursing experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in two of three care areas: day treatment therapies (e.g. infusions, transfusions), sedation for procedures as well as pre-post anesthesia care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient needs and adapt to changing situations.

Requirements
  • Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
  • CPR certification and PALS certification.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and one year recent experience in Pediatric Acute Care and/or Pediatric hematology/oncology and/or Pediatric Sedation and/or Pediatric PACU or pre/post anesthesia area.
