We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Waverly Health Center. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate operation of equipment and technical factors.
- Produce high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Must have successfully completed accredited Ultrasound Technology training from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered (or eligible for registry) as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- Must possess certifications in Physics and either OB/GYN or Abdomen within 24 months post Ultrasound education.
- Previous experience in area of licensure is preferred.
- Ability to learn and navigate computer systems, including online training modules and performance appraisal systems.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
- Sitting: Approximately 25% of shift.
- Standing: Approximately 50% of shift.
- Walking: Approximately 25% of shift.
- Lifting: Approximately 35 pounds.
