Position Overview

As a Plant Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring optimal operation of manufacturing equipment and plant facilities.
2. Managing maintenance activities to enhance production efficiency.
3. Applying Six Sigma methodologies to streamline manufacturing processes and minimize waste.
4. Ensuring adherence to OSHA and GMP standards to uphold a safe and healthy workplace.
5. Implementing and sustaining HACCP and SQF systems to guarantee the highest quality of food products.
6. Developing and overseeing preventive maintenance initiatives.
7. Supervising the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
8. Collaborating with production and quality assurance teams to address manufacturing challenges.
9. Participating in the design and enhancement of manufacturing processes and product lines.
10. Leading and mentoring the maintenance team to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
2. At least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity within the food manufacturing sector.
3. Strong technical knowledge of food production and manufacturing methodologies.
4. Proven expertise in Six Sigma, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, and SQF.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and team leadership skills.
6. Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Demonstrated capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
10. Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and CAD software.
